Oh yeah, here's the update. Thursday I got a text message. "Florence, can we please change the training to Saturday? Thanks" I had to look twice to see if I actually read the word please, or was I just imagining it?
Shortly after the text, I got a phone call from the manager, which included words like "Hello, Please and Thank-You". We agreed to reschedule the training to Saturday.
In less than an hour we covered everything I needed to know. He was kind enough to ask if I had any other question which I didn't. He actually smiled as he left and said, "Good-bye."
Training is over and now it's on to the next phase of this business task...but No matter what, I will always love living in Paris.
