Lunch at La Coupole

Josephine Baker, Ernest Hemmingway, Pablo Picasso, and so many more famous people of the 1920's hung out at this amazing restaurant in the Montparnasse area. Famous artist hand painted each of the columns in exchange for meals. The brasserie has managed to stay exactly the same as it looked back in the 1920's. Additionally, it has the absolute best hot chocolate I've ever tasted, made from melted chocolate and milk. Wonderful! A MUST to order if you like hot chocolate.

I stepped back in time with Carol (my landlady) for a nice afternoon lunch as she shared more interesting facts of Paris history.
