Chris is a friend of a friend of mine (Jamie's) and he has come to Paris for the U-2 Concert and to party with them after the show in some strange place in Paris. We are still trying to meet up for coffee during his visit, but the next few days are going to be busy. His visit has inspired me to share a few of the many events going on in Paris this week.
Maybe this is what I will blog about each weekend? For now, here's a little info on what's going on in Paris.

I plan to celebrate Bastille Day with a few friends. Bastille Day is a French national holiday, celebrated on 14 July each year. In France, it is called Fête Nationale ("National Celebration").
This holiday is similar to the 4th of July in the U.S. it commemorates the storming of the Bastille at the start of the French Revolution.
